Philippines is reportedly hosting the Miss Universe this year according to pageant related website Missosology.
The grand coronation night of Miss Universe will be held on November 27, Monday night, 9 in the morning of November 28, 2017 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The report also added that Miss Universe President Paula Shugart is arriving in Manila today June 7, 2017 for the contract signing.
The Philippines hosted the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. The Miss Universe Organization was reportedly pleased with the Philippines’ hosting of the previous pageant claiming it overshadowed the pre-events of the 2017 Super Bowl.
Last January, France’s Iris Mittenaere was crowned winner of the prestigious pageant, succeeding Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
This year, the country will be sending Filipino-British beauty queen Rachel Peters.
