Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine will finally crown her successor during the grand coronation of Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Sunday night, April 30, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Before passing the crown to the next Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Medina wrote a piece of advice for the 40 candidates are vying for the six crowns at the pageant.
She even posted a throwback photo of her Miss Universe stint last January held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Medina thanked her Filipino fans for the support and for giving her a chance to represent the country at the 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant where 85 other candidates from countries around the globe competed.

She wrote:
“Passing on my crown tomorrow and I will never forget what the Universe taught me.”
“Thank you my fellow Filipinos for choosing me to be your representative and be part of the historical event the Miss Universe 2016.
“It was a wonderful journey that I will treasure forever.”
She ended her caption with one of the biggest things she learned throughout the whole journey.
Maxine told the candidates, “To all the 40 candidates this is your chance to give it all. Take pride and have faith in how far you can go. The best advice? SMILE SMILE AND SMILE.”
