Model Katarina Rodriguez has reportedly resigned two days after being crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017.
According to reports, the main reason of her resignation is residency issue.

Meanwhile, CNN Philippines on Monday posted the news on Twitter:
“Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc.: Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Intercontinental Katarina Rodriguez has expressed she may not accept the crown. BPCI is waiting for a formal letter of resignation until today May 2.”
However, Katarina breaks her silence on Twitter. She said she never mentioned anything about not accepting the crown and asked the public to stop making assumptions.
