Manny Pacquiao To Judge Miss Universe 2015

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao will judge the upcoming Miss Universe 2015 to be held in Miami, Florida in January next year, according to Top Rank chief executive Bob Arum.

“The only thing we’re planning with Pacquiao (early in 2015) is that he’s going to be a judge at one of these beauty contests – Miss World or Miss Universe, the one in Miami, in January,” he told the Telegraph on Friday, December 19, 2014.

If the plan pushes through, Pacquiao could be the sixth Filipino judge in the history of Miss Universe contest. Other Filipino judges were Broadway star Lea Salonga (2011), the late Manila Bulletin Publishing Corp. Chairman Don Emilio T. Yap (1994), fashion designer Josie Natori (1989), and singer-actress Kuh Ledesma (1991).

Mary Jean Lastimosa of North Cotabato will represent the Philippines in the most prestigious beauty contest. She will compete against 87 other candidates in the beauty contest.
