Filipino a capella group “Pinopela” was named champion in the recent International A Capella Championships held at the Singapore Polytechnic Auditorium last week.
The talented eight-member group earned praises from the judges and audience of the competition with their rendition of “Skyfall” and “All I Ask” by Adele, and “Treasure” by Bruno Mars.
Pinopela took home the top prize in the international category, judges’ choice, and overall champion. The also won the most impressive soloist and won gold in the looping category.
