Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. announced the official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2016. The screening process was held at the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila Araneta Center in Quezon City on Saturday, February 12, 2016.

From the 88 pre-filtered applicants, only 40 were chosen to compete in the finals of the competition to be held on on Sunday, April 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
