Thia Megia sings Elton John song “Daniel”, JLO said it was beautiful

Thia Megia performed Elton John’s “Daniel“, Wednesday at the American Idol Top 11 performance night. The evening was packed of emotion when she started singing on stage. Thia chose “Daniel” in memory of the time her brother left.

The single ‘Daniel’ was a major hit song by Elton John that appeared on the 1973 album Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only the Piano Player. The single, written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, is a famous ballad.

• Jennifer Lopez said : That was beautiful. This was very well suited for your voice.
• Randy Jackson said : I liked that it was a very relaxed side of you. It was still very safe. I don’t know how that’s going to help you.
• Steven Tyler : When you find the right song, the voice appears. You sang a great Elton John song well.
