According to TAPE Inc. executive vice president Malou Choa-Fagar on Friday, Yaya Dub won’t be a muse for any PBA team this season. Because of her star appeal, fans demanded her to be part of PBA as muse.

In a report by GMA News, “Barangay Ginebra San Miguel team executive Alfrancis Chua earlier said that he’ll bring the issue up with the team, while Mahindra playing coach Manny Pacquiao also confirmed his team’s interest in having her as his team’s muse.”

“Ginebra players LA Tenorio, Japeth Aguilar, and Jayjay Helterbrand also admitted being fans of the AlDub phenomenon and had wished that Mendoza would be with the team for the opening ceremonies,” the report added.

Mendoza was cast as Yaya Dub, the nanny of Wally Bayola’s character, Lola Nidora, in the Juan For All, All For Juan segment of Eat Bulaga. Her character is paired with fellow Eat Bulaga co-host Alden Richards, in a rom-com/drama sketch/segment on the show entitled “KalyeSerye”.

Mendoza and Richards are set to appear in the upcoming 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry entitled Romcom-in Mo Ako. The movie stars are Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai de las Alas.
