Pinay singer Marlisa Punzalan, the youngest singer in the competition, has made it to The X Factor Australia 2014 Top 10. The result was revealed during the live elimination rounds of the show on Monday, August 25.
Last night, Punzalan received a standing ovation from Ronan, Redfoo, Nat and Dannii after performing “Hopelessly Devoted To You” by Olivia Newton-John.
“She’s back! Your vocals are amazing and outstanding,” said judge Nat. While Dannii said, “That’s a great song choice. Brilliant job!
Redfoo said her performance was remarkable. Her mentor Ronan said, “We’re trying to find a star that can sell records international and you have what it takes to be on that level.”
Marlisa will be back next week together with other 9 singers of the competition.
