The X Factor former contestant Nathaniel O’Brien has been killed after a country music festival performance in South Australia.
According to Sydney Herald, O’Brien died when his car crashed into a tree in the small town of Hanson at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 8.
Police authorities said the 19-year-old teen was the only person inside his car when the accident happened.
Last year, O’Brien advanced through the bootcamp to become one of the top 24 contestants on the show. He was mentored by X Factor judge Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who posted on Twitter on Sunday night that O’Brien had the “voice of an angel”.

Fans took to social media with their tributes, saying O’Brien was a “beautiful soul” and an “amazing voice and person”.
