Sam Mangubat, Youtube sensation from laguna, is still the defending winner of ABS-CBN “It’s Showtime” singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”
On Wednesday, Mangubat garnered the highest score with his version of ‘Just The Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars, defeating daily round winner John Milo Atibula from Mindanao, who performed his version of “I Will Be Here” by Gary Valenciano.

After the judges deliberation, Mangubat earned a total average score of 94.8 percent while Atibula received only 91.8 percent.
Mangubat will return on Tawag Ng Tanghalan stage on Thursday to defend his title.
