Long-running singing competition The Voice returns Monday night, Sept. 19, for Season 11 premiere episode which features new coaches Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus competing alongside old pros Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
There are five stages of the competition: the Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Live Playoffs and, lastly, the Live Performance Shows.
Tonight, amateur singers will audition in front of the four coaches, who will try to convince their favorites to choose them as their mentor. When the coaches get the allowed number of contestants, the artists will then have to pair off and compete in the Battle and Knockout rounds.
Those who move on to the next round will then have to perform for America’s vote during the live playoffs.
