VanderWaal will take home $1M and will headline the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Oct. 27, 28 and 29, according to a statement.

Other winners announced during the grand finale held Wednesday night are Jon Dorenbos in third place, Brian Justin Crum in fourth place and Sal Valentinetti in fifth place.

Last Tuesday, VandeWaal performed her fourth original song called “Clay.” The lyrics of her song once again touched the hearts of all four judges.

After her performance, judge Howie Mandel called her “Amazing Grace.” “It’s not only a song – it speaks to you. You are amazing. This is my favorite moment of the night,” he said.

Mel B said that the teenager was meant to be where she is today while Heidi Klum compared the singer to the rarest kind of diamond, and Simon Cowell predicted big things for her.
