Sam Mangubat failed to defend his title on It’s Showtime “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” on Saturday, August 20, 2016.
Mangubat lost his chance to secure a place in the third semi-final rounds of the competition after contender Aillen Udtog from Metro Manila won his title.
The Youtube star, who hails from Calamba, Laguna, performed his own rendition of Westlife’s “World Of Our Own” which earned him a 93 percent.
While Udtog received 94.8 percent from the judges. She wowed with her version of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”
