Rachel Gabreza from Metro Manila successfully defended her “Tawag ng Tanghalan” title on “It’s Showtime” on Saturday, January 23, 2016.

Gabreza is the second contestant to enter the semi-final rounds of the competition after 44-year-old father and habal-habal driver Dominador Alviola Jr. from Davao Oriental.
The 23-year-old saleslady from Makati belt out Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” which earned her a 96.8%
Gabreza beat the 24-year-old daily winner Mark Gelmer Pieza of Roxas City, Capiz, who also impressed the judges with his heartfelt version of Martin Nievera’s ‘The Promise.’
