Korean student Yohan Hwang was named grand winner of ABS-CBN first ever foreign singing competition ‘I Love OPM.’

On Saturday, April 24, Hwang beat out other finalists Pakistan’s Dio Smith, American Ryan Gallagher, and J-Morning also from Korea. He took home P2 million, a one-year recording contract with Star Music and a vacation package to Cebu.
The winners were based on a combined scores given by the judges plus the public text votes.
Yohan got the highest votes of 32.82% while J Morning ranked second with 23.42%. Ryan and Dio placed third and fourth, 23.27% and 20.50% respectively.
Judge Martin Nievera, Toni Gonzaga and Lani Misalucha were impressed with his version of “Huwag Ka Nang Umiyak” by Gary Valenciano.
