Jeramie Sanico from Mindanao is still the defending champion of ABS-CBN “It’s Showtime” singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”
On Tuesday episode of the show, Sanico wowed the audience and judges with her own rendition of OPM classic “Lipad Ng Pangarap” by Dessa, defeating daily round winner Anthony Rosaldo from Metro Manila, who performed his version of “Take Me To Church” by Irish singer Hozier.
After tabulating the final results, the judges revealed that Sanico earned a total average score of 92.8 percent while Rosaldo received only 91.0 percent.
Sanico will return on Tawag Ng Tanghalan stage on Wednesday to defend her title.
