Comedian Jennie Gabriel is still the defending champion of It’s Showtime singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”

The Angel Locsin sound-alike belted out an impressive version of Whitney Houston classic “I Will Always Love You” on Monday, July 11, 2016.
Gabriel received a total of 94.2 percent from the judges with her performance, beating former The Voice contestant Lance Fabros, who performed “Exchange Of Hearts,” with 94 percent.
The comedy bar singer took home a total of P160,000 cash prize and she will be back on the show to defend her title on Tuesday.
Gabriel was the second contestant who entered the third quarter of Tawag Ng Tanghalan semifinals.
