Comedy bar singer Jennie Gabriel is now among the semifinalists of ABS-CBN’sa daily noontime show It’s Showtime “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”

The Angel Locsin sound-alike on Saturday received loud cheers from the audience with her own rendition of Beyonce’s “Listen.”
She was announced winner of the competition after defeating daily winner Christhylljoy Batangas, who performed Liza Minnelli’s “Cabaret.” She received an average score of 96.8 percent while Batangas received 94.2 percent.
Gabriel was the second contestant who entered the third quarter of Tawag Ng Tanghalan semifinals.
