Filipino-African Garrett Bolden from Olongapo City is still the defending champion of It’s Showtime singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”
On Wednesday, July 20, the Filipino-African singer from Olongapo City impressed the judges with his own rendition of Michael Jackson’s hit “You Are Not Alone.”
The judges gave him a total average score of 93.2 percent while daily rounds winner Honey Roxas received a total of 91.6 percent.
He will be back on Thursday to defend his Tawag Ng Tanghalan title.
On Tuesday, Bolden first impressed the judges with his rendition of Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man” and defeated one-day defending champion Jennon Juarbal from Cebu.
