Eumee Capile successfully defended her “Tawag ng Tanghalan” title on “It’s Showtime.” She is the latest contestant to enter the semifinal rounds of the competition.
On Monday, September 19, the OFW singer from Bulacan performed her version of “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus which earned her a spot in the quarter three semifinal rounds of the singing contest.

Capile beat the daily winner Kristina Madrigal from Bacolod, who also impressed the judges with her heartfelt version of “It Might Be You” and “Note To God” by Charice.
Capile received a total average score of 98.2 percent while Madrigal received a total average of 92.2 percent. She will be back on the show on Tuesday to continue her reign as the defending champion of the competition.
