Eumee Capile, an Overseas Filipino Worker from Bulacan, is still the defending champion of ABS-CBN “It’s Showtime” singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”
On Tuesday, September 20, Capile wowed the audience and the judges with her version of “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” by Regine Velasquez, defeating daily round winner Jensen Kyra from Metro Manila, who performed her version of “You and I” by Lady Gaga.
After tabulating the final results, the judges revealed that Capile from earned a total average score of 96.2 percent while Kyra received only 92.2 percent.
On Monday, Capile entered the semifinal rounds of the competition after defeating daily winner Kristina Madrigal from Bacolod. She earned a total average score of 98.2 percent with Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.”

Capile took home a total cash prize of P160,000 and will return on Tawag Ng Tanghalan stage on Wednesday to defend her title.
