Eumee Capile, an OFW singer from Bulacan, is still the defending champion of It’s Showtime singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”
On Friday, Sept. 16, Capile belted out her own version of Lani Misalucha’s hit “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” during the final rounds of the competition.

Capile received an average judges’ score of 98.4 percent, defeating daily winner Martin Linan by more than four percent.
Linan, the returning contender from Metro Manila, sang Survivor’s “Eversince The World Began” for a score of 94.4 percent.
Capile, who joined the competition to help her retired parents, will be back to the “It’s Showtime” stage on Saturday in search of her fourth straight win.
