Singer Bamboo Manalac performed his own rendition of “Tomorrow” from the musical “Annie” on The Voice Kids Philippines Season 3 blind auditions on Saturday, June 18, 2016.
In his attempt to win a contestant dressed in full Annie costume, Bamboo stood up and confidently sang as he approached the 7-year-old Carmela Lorzano.
His classic rock version also impressed Lea Salonga, who sang the song in the Manila production when she was a little girl.
Carmela joined Team Lea despite Bamboo’s effort to win her over his team.
