Adelene Rabulan from Luzon defeated 9th time defending champion Jennie Gabriel on Thursday episode of It’s Showtime “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.”

Rabulan impressed the judges and won the daily rounds of the competition after performing her own rendition of Jessie J’s “Nobody’s Perfect.”
During the final rounds, Rabulan performed “Ikaw,” a song popularized by Yeng Constantino while Gabriel belted out a Whitney Houston classic “One Moment In Time.”
The judges decided to give the title to Rabulan with a total score of 94.2 percent.
Meanwhile, Gabriel will return on the show to compete in the semifinals of the competition. She took home a total of P220,000 cash prize.
