The Voice Season 8 February 24 Blind Auditions Premiere Recap & Videos

The Voice U.S. Season 8 ‘Blind Auditions’ returns Tuesday night, February 24, 2015, for the second part of the premiere episode. Singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera will be joined by Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as celebrity musician coaches, while Carson Daly continues to serve as host.

Last night, Team Blake got Sarah Potenza, Cody Wickline, Joshua Davis while Team Christina got two artists – Rob Taylor, Treeva Gibson. Lowell Oakley, Meghan Linsey, Sawyer Fredericks for Team Pharrell and no one for Team Adam.

Like from the previous seasons, the format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the Blind Auditions, followed by the Battle Rounds, the Knockouts, the Live Playoffs and finally, the Live Performance Shows.

• Drew Parker, 23, “Workin Man Blues” by Merle Haggard. No on turned.

• Mia Z, 15, “The Thrill Is Gone” by B.B. King. Two-chair turn from Blake and Pharrell. She joined Team Pharrell.

• Blaze Johnson, 23, “How To Save a Life” by The Fray. He joined Team Adam.

• Bryan Pierce, 39, “Rocket Man” by Elton John. No one turned.

• Deanna Johnson, 18, “All I Want” by Kodaline. Four-chair turn! She chose Team Adam!
