Eat Bulaga host Joey de Leon posted a series of tweets in response to controversial ‘kababawan’ tweet by Broadway star Lea Salonga.

On Friday, Sept. 25, Salonga tweeted “Okay lang sa akin ang kababawan, pero hanggang doon na lamang ba tayo?” with hashtag #NagtatanongLangPo.
AlDub nation immediately interpreted her tweet referring to Eat Bulaga’s phenomenal loveteam of Alden Richards and Maine ‘Yaya Dub’ Mendoza.
But Salonga already made it clear that her tweet is not meant for AlDub. “For those of you that replied about BALANCE, you rock my world. That’s what I was after. We all need fun, but that can’t be all there is,” she said.
In defense, Lea tweeted:
