Asia’s Got Talent second runner-up winner, Gerphil Flores, has finally proved there’s no truth to the rumor that she’s snubbing ABS-CBN shows.
On Wednesday, May 27, the 24-year-old classical singer performed “The Impossible Dream” on Kapamilya’s noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
After her performance, she thanked the viewers and fans for supporting her in the pan regional talent show. “Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa inyong lahat sa pagsuporta sa akin at pagdasal sa akin sa journey ko sa ‘Asia’s Got Talent.’ Maraming-marami pong salamat,” Flores said.
Weeks ago, Flores explained why she did not perform with fellow finalists on ASAP. She said she was still in Singapore at the time and couldn’t perform with the other finalists. She also addressed rumors that she has a grudge against ABS-CBN, saying that she has yet to receive an invitation from the network. She stressed that that she is willing to perform in any network.
