Chris Crump, 31 years old from Baytown Texas, performed his powerful version of Ed Sheeran’s hit “Thinking Out Loud” on The Voice Season 9 Blind Auditions on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015.

He left his wedding reception early to audition on the show. His wife was totally supportive. Crump’s voice is smooth with a little bit of edge which makes him very versatile. All four coaches turn for him. Blake Shelton loves his ability to be emotional and connected to what he’s singing. Pharrell Williams thought there were some transition problems.
Adam Levine will help him work on performing without losing it. Gwen loves his intimate style. In the end, Chris chooses Team Blake.
