Ché Chesterman performed an ‘incredible’ vocal performance with a soulful mash-up of Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye on The X Factor UK 2015 Live Shows Week 1 Saturday, October 31.
The 19-year-old East Londoner wowed the audience and judges wowed with his medley of ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ and ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.’
Simon Cowell said, “I didn’t expect that. The only thing is, you can’t dance. You can move, but you shouldn’t be dancing. The vocal, however, was flawless – I’m so impressed.”
His mentor Nick Grimshaw said, “It was incredible. You did me proud; you did yourself proud.”
