Aside from 4th Power, another Pinoy has made it to the next round of the “X Factor UK!” Neneth Ortega Lyons received four “yes” votes from the judges during the show’s third week of auditions at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday.
Lyons, 37, had all judges and audience on their feet after she sang a powerful performance of Barbra Streisand’s “Somewhere.”
Judge Nick Grimshaw said he was initially drawn by Lyons’ nerves but then saw that she came alive during the performance and that she seemed like a different person.
Versini called her performance “spellbinding” and “stunning.” Simon Cowell said that Neneth was a brilliant singer.
