American Idol Season 13 has officially ended Wednesday night. The winner this season was awarded to the 23-year-old singer from Asheville, North Carolina – Caleb Johnson.
With the win, North Carolina the state with the most American Idol winners (Fantasia Barrino in 2004 and Scotty McCreery in 2011).
Johnson beat out fellow finalist Jena Irene, 17, from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
