Eat Bulaga’s popular AlDub love team, comprise of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza, has set a new record of 6.37 million tweets from last Saturday’s episode with hashtag #AldubTheAbduction.

According to reports, majority of the number of tweets were from the Philippines followed by the United States.
Other tweets were from Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Japan, New Zealand, Italy, United Kingdom, Qatar, Taiwan, Malaysia, Greece, Australia, South Korea, Kuwait, Estonia, Chad and France.
The #AldubTheAbduction episode was the second meeting for Alden and Yaya Dub. The episode ended with Duhrizz running away from the scene after sisters Tinidora (Jose Manalo) and Tidora’s (Paolo Ballesteros) successful rescue mission of Yaya Dub.
