The Voice Kids Philippines Coach Sarah Geronimo Wins International Song Contest

The Voice Kids Philippine coach Sarah Geronimo won the 10th International Song Contest: The Global Sound for her song, “Kilometro”.


According to Viva Enterntainment, the Pop Princess beat out 26 other countries and their corresponding singers to win the award.

On Facebook, ISC Global Sound, this is the first time that an Asian country won in the competition. They also
described Sarah as the “first returning artist to ever win the competition on their second try.”

The Pop Princess first participated during the contest’s fifth edition with her song “Sino Nga Ba Siya.”

The countries who participated in the contest include The Netherlands, France, USA, Sweden, Singapore, United Kingdom, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Latvia, New Zealand, South Korea, Italy, Colombia, Denmark, Australia, Venezuela, Brazil, Turkey, Peru, Belarus, Argentina, Lithuania, Mexico, Malaysia, and Albania.
