Chris Hemsworth has been named People’s Magazine Sexiest Man Alive for 2014 on Tuesday, Nov. 18, via Jimmy Kimmel Live show.
‘Thank you, I’m most excited about the alive portion of that statement, and the sexy part is a bonus,’ the Thor: The Dark World lead actor said after the big revelation.
Hemsworth told PEOPLE, “I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” Hemsworth said of his new honor. “I can just say to (my wife), ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.’ ”
Other honorary include Adam Levine (2013), Channing Tatum (2012), Bradley Cooper (2011), Ryan Reynolds (2010) and Johnny Depp (2009). A 29-year-old Mel Gibson was the first man to hold the title back in 1985.
