Movie and television director Wenn Deramas has died due to heart attack. The news was shared by his friend Jun Rufino in an interview with ABS-CBN ANC News on Monday, February 29, 2016.
According to Rufino, the 49-year-old director was rushed to the hospital at 2am early Monday but could not be revived.
Deramas is the man behind Vice Ganda’s box-office movies such as The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin, Sisterakas, Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy and most recently, the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Beauty and the Bestie which has earned the title “Highest Grossing Filipino Film of All Time.”
His remains will be brought to Arlington Memorial Chapels in Araneta.
