Celebrity couple Zanjoe Marudo and Bea Alonzo have ended their four-year long relationship. Zanjoe made the confirmation in an interview aired Wednesday, January 20, with ABS-CBN’s Tonight With Boy Abunda.
“There’s no easy way. So I just really have go through it,” he told Boy.
“All of us go through that. We’re not perfect. I guess you do not love each other if you’re not shaken by challenges. That’s not a relationship. A relationship is full misunderstandings and love. So you love one another if you care for each other,” he added.
He was teary eyed during the interview and did not give any further comment on the issue. Meanwhile, Bea has not yet said anything on the breakup.
Last July, the couple admitted to having problems that they were trying to work out as Bea was rumored to be dating actor Paulo Avelino but quickly denied.
Lately, Bea has been linked to actor John Lloyd Cruz, her co-star in the blockbuster romantic drama “One More Chance” and its hit sequel, “A Second Chance.”
