Rowan Atkinson aka “Mr. Bean” Passed Away, Hoax Spreads on Facebook






British actor, comedian, and screenwriter Rowan Atkinson, best known as “Mr. Bean,” is the latest victim of celebrity death hoax.

Fans all over the world are shocked of his alleged demise on Wednesday after a ‘R.I.P. Rowan Atkinson’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of likes and shares.

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday (August 12, 2015), our beloved actor Rowan Atkinson passed away. Rowan Atkinson was born on January 6, 1955 in Newcastle upon Tyne. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

On Thursday, August 13, Mr. Bean’s reps officially confirmed that he is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.

Other victims of celebrity death hoax were Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Cesar Millan aka Dog Whisperer, Justin Bieber, Shaggy and Jon Bon Jovi.
