She’s a Culinary Arts graduate from La Salle St. Benilde. She was a Dean’s Lister and was awarded a couple of Second Honors Certificate, a recognition given to students with a 3.0 to 3.4 GPA, during her stay in the university.

She did her OJT (On the Job Training) at a resort in Upstate New York. Maine took advantage of hiring opportunities offered for new graduates by US-restaurant/resort owners and stayed in New York for six months.

She made her own short selfie video like any other social media addict. Her first Dubsmash clip was uploaded on Instagram on April 22, 2015 and it was a dubbed impersonation of Kris Aquino.

Followed by a longer Facebook video featuring Kris Aquino and became a hit with more than million views. “I love editing videos and pictures and then I started uploading my compilation on my Facebook.” The compilation included her Dubsmash impersonation of Aquino and that launched Maine as a YouTube star. Now she’s known as “the Queen of Dubsmash.”

It didn’t take long for her to catch the attention of those behind GMA-7 noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga.’ She’s being matched with Bulaga’s on-studio co-host Alden Richards.
