TV personality Boy Abunda break his silence over Manny Pacquiao’s controversial statement on same-sex marriage.

“Gay rights are human rights,” Abunda said on his show ‘Abunda Tonight’ on Tuesday night. Who are you to judge me as someone worse than an animal. Common sense, am I going to vote a candidate who called me worse than an animal?,” he said.
Abunda even quoted Pope Francis’ statement on gay priests: “If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?”
“I am not begging Manny Pacquiao for dignity, I am not begging you for respect, I am not begging you for humanity because you do not own my humanity, it’s mine,” Abunda added.
