Award-winning actor Jiro Manio, who played Magnifico in 2003, was spotted wandering at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA]) Terminal 3.
According to Inquirer.net, the former child star was found roaming around the airport’s lobby by airport security Frank Sorca for four days now.
Sorca recognized Manio and pitied the actor when he saw the actor. “He looked as if he hasn’t had a decent meal and his clothes were dirty,” he said.
Asked why he’s a the airport, the actor told him that he left his home because he had enemies there. Manio told Sorca that he did not want to leave the terminal because he would only get hurt outside.
In 2011, Manio entered rehabilitation center for drug use. He has fathered two children but he’s not married.
According to TV Patrol, Manio’s father said they had fight that’s why he left the house. His siblings are asking for help because they can no longer support Manio’s mental health treatment.
As of posting time, Manio has been taken into custody by the airport police on Tuesday and would be picked up by his aunt and some relatives tonight at the airport.
