The Voice coach Adam Levine recently gate-crashed weddings across Los Angeles and filmed his newest music video “Sugar”.
The Maroon 5 frontman explains, “We’re gonna drive across LA and hit every wedding we possibly can.” They filmed the video back in December, and for each stop, the band hid behind a white sheet. There was a big reveal at each wedding, and every couple reacted differently — some immediately hitting the dance floor while others excitedly yelled.”
“It was an out-of-body experience. I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all,” he added.
Levine’s old pal David Dobkin, who directed the movie ‘Wedding Crashers’, also helped the singer to helm the music video.
‘Sugar’ is the third single from Maroon 5’s fifth studio album, ‘V’, after releasing ‘Maps’ and ‘Animals’.
