AJ Perez dead. Young actor and ABS-CBN talent AJ Perez, 18, died in a highway accident Sunday morning, showbiz writer Ogie Diaz reported.
According to initial reports, Perez was confirmed dead at about 12:20 am Sunday, April 17 , 2011 after a van he was in collided with a truck along McArthur Highway in Paniqui, Tarlac.
Perez was on his way back to Manila from Dagupan. He died due to multiple head injuries.
Perez was able to post his last tweet on Twitter after a show in Dagupan.
He said, “On the way home already from Dagupan.Long drive ahead.. Thanks to everybody who watched, thanks to zui for the gifts.And hi again to jarred!”
AJ Perez was a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Batch 13. He played the role of Candido “Dido” Sandoval in Jessy Mendiola’s afternoon drama “Sabel.” He’s Lauren Young love team in “All About Your Luv” and one of the members of the “Gigger Boys.”
AJ’s remains will lie in state at Arlington Memorial Chapel in Araneta, Quezon City.
