American singer and rapper Chris Rene from Santa Cruz, California was voted off on X Factor USA 2011 Grand Finale Thursday, leaving two acts competing for the $5 million prize during the first half of the finale.

Christopher Dean Rene, born on December 25, 1982, auditioned for the X Factor in Seattle. He impressed the judges with his original song “Young Homie” & called as “The Truth” by X Factor judge LA Reid. Rene also admitted to having recently gotten out of drug rehab.
