The Top 11 finalists of X Factor Philippines performed live for the second time during their performance night on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the Pagcor Grand Theater in Paranaque City. This week, each contestant was given a song that has the word “buhay” or “life” in their lyrics.

ABS-CBN’s talent show ‘X Factor Philippines‘ beats other networks’ talent-reality shows in TV ratings according to Kantar Media ratings.

Based on recent urban and rural TV ratings data from Kantar Media, ‘X Factor Philippines‘ received the highest national TV rating of 20.7% last Saturday (August 4) against TV5 network’s ‘Artista Academy‘ with 1.8%. Last Sunday (August 5), GMA 7’s talent search ‘Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break‘ also failed on its viewership with an average of 13.2% versus ‘X Factor Philippines’ with 16.6%.
