Dancing duo Gladys Knight & Tristan MacManus were eliminated on Dancing with the Stars Season 14 Week 6. The Empress of Soul, Gladys, failed to beat Disney star Roshon Fegan in a dance duel that drew a split decision from judges.
Other contestants, Jaleel White and his partner Kym Johnson were the first couple to be saved while Latin heartthrob William Levy and his partner Cheryl Burke were also saved from the dance duel.
Top couple Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas were also safe after scoring a near perfect 39 during Motown week.
Also joining next week, Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd, Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Maria Menounos and Derek Hough.
HLN host Nancy Grace‘ fate on Dancing with the Stars came to an end tonight. Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus were eliminated in DWTS Week 8, just one week before the semi-finals.
Grace thanked the cast and crew of DWTS and to her fans. “I also want to thank the viewers that have stuck by me, since way back when, sending homemade gifts to the twins when they were in the hospital, for voting us through and standing by Tristan and myself all this time,” she said.
Last night, Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus danced a fierce tango, which was well-received by the judges. However, Nancy Grace did not receive positive reviews during rehearsals.
“We still haven’t found the best way to work with each other,” MacManus said of his partnership with Grace, which was in its eighth on-air week. A common issue for the pair was Grace’s apparent lack of listening. Grace described MacManus as “sensitive” towards that particular issue.
Grace was determined to get out of the bottom-rated performers and thrive, unfortunately her Cinderella story came to end.
