After the success of ‘The Road’, GMA Films has released the first movie trailer of this year’s most awaited horror movie, ‘Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles‘. It stars Dingdong Dantes, Joey Marquez, Janice de Belen, Lovi Poe, and Ramon Bautista.
As posted on Youtube, “Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles is the first feature-length Filipino movie entirely shot on green screen. Only the houses and vehicles are real. All the backgrounds, including trees, mountains and creatures were laboriously and painstakingly realized using the latest computer technology. It honors the genre’s traditions without taking itself too seriously as it combines honest-to-goodness scares with irreverent Pinoy wit and humor.”
Produced by Reality Entertainment (owned by Dondon Monteverde, Erik Matti and A/F Benaza), Agosto Dos (owned by Dingdong Dantes) and GMA Films, Tiktik:The Aswang Chronicles is directed by Erik Matti. Opens in theaters nationwide in October 2012.

Regal Fims Inc. proudly presents the latest horror movie “Aswang” starring Lovi Poe. The movie is a remake of Peque Gallaga‘s 1992 film starring Alma Moreno.
“Aswang” stars Lovi Poe, Albie Casiño and newest Kapamilya star Paulo Avelino. Also Jillian Ward along with Bembol Roco, Joem Bascon, Precious Lara Quigaman, Niña Jose and Marc Abaya.
The film is under the direction of Jerrold Tarog, the creator of “Punerarya,” the third episode of Shake Rattle and Roll XII last 2010.
“Aswang was originally intended as a remake of Peque Gallaga‘s 1992 film starring Alma Moreno, Manilyn Reynes and Aiza Seguerra but so much was changed in the rewrite that it’s become an entirely new beast. Some elements from the original storyline remain but I’ll leave that for those who’ve seen the original to discover,” the director quoted.
”Aswang” remake is tentatively set for release on October 27 this year.
