Hollywood comedy film ‘Here Comes The Boom‘ has released it’s first official trailer. Starring international singing sensation Charice, Kevin James, Salma Hayek, Henry Winkler, Melissa Peterman, Greg Germann, Joe Rogan, Reggie Lee and Bas Rutten.

In the movie, Charice will play as Malia Dela Cruz, a musical student. “My character is a brainiac,” said Charice. “She’s a musical genius. She plays piano, sings and everything.”

The story.

In the comedy Here Comes the Boom, former collegiate wrester Scott Voss (Kevin James) is a 42-year-old apathetic biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten to cancel the music program and lay off its teacher (Henry Winkler) Scott begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy – most of all the school nurse, Bella (Salma Hayek) – but in his quest, Scott gains something he never expected as he becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school.

Director and release date.

The movie was directed by Zookeeper director Frank Coraci and is set to release on October 12, 2012. Watch the trailer after the jump.

International singing sensation Charice was caught on the set of her latest hollywood movie “Here Comes The Boom.”

Spotted with Charice was American actress Salma Hayek walking outside the Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston.

Also spotted are co-stars Kevin James and Henry Wrinkler.

“Here Comes The Boom” is directed by Frank Coraci which is set to release on July 29, 2012.
