And the first winner of X Factor USA 2011 is Melanie Amaro! The 19-year-old British Virgin Islands native won over Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik. She won a $5 million recording contract with Sony Music plus a chance to appear in one of Pepsi’s tv commercials.

Amaro, who was sent home and then brought back to the competition was speechless when her name was announced.

“Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!” was all she could get out through tears before falling to her knees to pray.

“America, thank you for giving this girl an opportunity,” Simon said on her behalf. “She is a star.”

“Thank you so much!” she said. “I don’t know what to say. Thank you. God is good.”

America voted Josh Krajcik in second while Chris Rene on third place.

Josh Krajcik performed his second song “At Last” popularized by Etta James on X Factor USA Top 3 Final Performance Night on Wednesday.

The judges comments on his performance:

LA: You look so at home up there. You are such a rock star. You made it your own. That’s what this is all about.

Paula: Authentic, real, kind hearted. You own that stage. Great job.

Simon: This is what we call the 5 million dollar song. Playing guitar was massive risk. This is really going to be a close call tonight

Nicole: You’ve been you, yourself, I’m honored to be a part of this journey with you. I’m so proud of you.

Marcus Canty from Bowie Maryland is the latest eliminated act on X Factor USA Top 4 Elimination Results Thursday night.

X Factor USA host Steve Jones revealed that over 30 million votes were cast. Chris Rene was the first act to be called. Next act moving on to X Factor USA Finals was Melanie Amaro.

Finally, Marcus Canty is voted off. The 21-year-old contestant doesn’t look shocked by the results. Do you think Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene deserve to be in the final three?

LA: I rather enjoyed that. It’s the best I’ve seen you in a few weeks. I’ve always pictured you as a guy who could win. You’ve made a return.

Paula: You attack our souls. You get into us. I would pay anything to see you perform live on stage.

Simon: I agree with LA. You’ve come back, you’ve come back strong. Just you a song…it would be a massive shame if you didn’t make it to the finals. Simon calls Nicole “Cruella”

Nicole: You are never rehearsed. Something else comes over you. You are just living and breathing that fire.
