Gerald Anderson is back on primetime TV via ABS-CBN first advocacy series “Budoy.” He will play the title role, a boy suffering from delay in mental development.

“Budoy’s birth is a family blessing that later on turned into a family shame when they discovered that he is suffering from Angel Syndrome, which delays the intellectual development of a child. The family decided to hide their ‘dishonor’, and replace him with a normal child.”

Gerald will be joined by promising young stars of ABS-CBN, Jessy Mendiola and Enrique Gil with a powerhouse cast lead by Zsa Zsa Padilla, Barbara Perez, Dante Rivero, Gloria Sevilla, Tirso Cruz III, Mylene Dizon, Christian Vasquez and Janice de Belen.

Gerald is a product of the network’s hit reality television show “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition.” He was part of the big television hits like “Sana Maulit Muli,” “My Girl,” “Tayong Dalawa,” and movies like “Paano Na Kaya,” “Till My Heartaches End,” and “Catch Me, I’m In Love.”
